I'm at work bored...my best guy friend with whom I had an on off fling before we called it quits went to see a girl this weekend that he thinks he might like. I've been hoping he'd tell me by now but haven't said a thing, even though he asked my opinion about it a million times before he decided to go. Am dying to know what happened, but I get the feeling he thinks I don't like he. Don't want to ask in a way that it makes me sound like I don't like her or am jealous. She's a great girl, I just don't think they are suited for each other. Won't say anything about that though. His decision to make. What can I txt to fish for info?

hmm, tough one. possbly if he asked your opinion loads before actually going to see her then he maybe WANTS you to be a bit jealous, or maybe wanted you to say "dont go!" kind of thing! If that IS the case, then perhaps he isnt' telling you cos he feels like he didnt get the reaction he wanted from you so he's over fishing for the right reaction.

BUT if that was totally not his vibe , then I dont understand why he hasn't texted to tell you about it. weird. perhaps it went really well and he doesnt want to potentiallyhurt your feelings (esp if he picked up that you aren't that overboard keen on the girl).

I say you totally have the right to ask - esp seeing as he asked your advice and all. I'd text and say " hey, so...how was the big weekend? details please!!! :)" or something that seems light hearted or jokey.

let us know the outcome!!!!!

Take a breath. Get back to where you can think with your heart. Everyone's Heart has been taken out of the equation. It's there, beating to make you happy. Be yourself. Honesty will help you get through any problem.

Just send him a msg asking how things went over the weekend. If he talked to you about it before he went, maybe he is just waiting to see if you care what happened by asking.
