These number were just released by the U.N. A- U.S. sponsered agency ran by the United States....so the numbers are probably higher and they said civilian deaths (CIVILIANS ARE INNOCENT PEPLE BY DEFINITION) not terrorist or military leaders they were people like our children and wives not our soldiers they were not trained warriors...they were innocent children..women and yes men too...

The US government defines terrorism as, in addition to the obvious, "Acts which are not conducted by a legitamite government"
This means that they can conduct terrorist-like activities without seeming like hypocrites... so they think!

We must take into account that the US (I'm Canadian) isn't the one who is causing car bombings, and their is civil war, of course there are those American soldiers who may accidentally or purposely kill innocent civilians sadly, so the toll of innocent deaths are simply caused by evil coming from either side.

I don't like the second part of your question because it is mischievous and wrong to make false accusation and to try to link these deaths to US troops.
BBC news excerpt: "....it is tragic when there's innocent people losing their lives in Iraq. Hundreds of thousands of them lost their lives, innocent people, under Saddam.

please don't blame the u.s. it's not the u.s. it's our ignorant president. he's the one to blame. i have never been for this war, and never wanted bush. many of the Americans that voted for bush are just now realizing that he's a very bad seed. you can't blame the soldiers either because they are doing what they are told from their boss. guess who that boss is - - bush. so please don't put Americans into the same category as our president. he's not my president, all he is, is a oil grubbing hick. oh and by the way where's osama bin laden? does anyone know? wait a minute bush knows never mind.
