Ok, this may sound weird but I have asked everyone and no one can tell me what it might be. My nipples are very sore and they are erect, they will not go down and have been like this for 4 days. I don't know what this could be or how to treat it. I'm trying to avoid asking my doctor because it's kinda emarrassing. Any help??

I can't be pregnant, I haven't had sex in about 2 months and also I am 50 years old if that would help in figuring out what it migh be.

Ask a nurse - a well qualified one. or ask to see a female doctor in that practice

Also any sign of infections if so might be emarrassing but should seek a doc.
