I live in U.S. and I think that George W. will without a doubt go down in history as our WORST president EVER. Is tony blair as hated in Britain as W. is here??
I remember watching Blair on the news back in 1996 and I thought he seemed very nice and intelligent and would bring better changes to England, however it seems to me he was just a two faced phoney. But what do I know?

Easily, Thatcher lost the plot, but at least she told the truth.

Tony Blair is a coniving liar, who lies to do the things that he wants. He has no backbone, he is afraid to say 'NO' to Bush.

When Tony Blair came on the scene, we all though he was THE MAN, and we voted him in twice. We soon learned what an incredibly bad Leader he is. EVERYTHING has gotten worse. We have a Third World transport system, ineffectual police, a totally inadequate Health Service, ANYONE can walk into the country (unless you have a genuine British passport. Then it's tough) We have a worsening yob culture, crime pays, we are taxed out of our brains, and we are the most spied upon people in Europe! Yes, he is much more unpopular than Thatcher was. She damaged the country, but he has done far more, and longer lasting damage. We have been screwed by Blair, Brown, Prescott and their gang, but, being British, we sit back and take it. The next election is too far away as far as I'm concerned, but when it comes I hope we DON'T VOTE LABOUR!

He turned Great Britain into Mockery Britain. He is very, very unpopular among the UK folks.

It really is a shame, he seemed to be very intelligent and all when he and his Labour Party was competing in the elections in the mid 90's.

I don't know how did he end up like he is now. Its hard to say. In the end, his political courier will go down the toilet.

I think that Great Britain could have done a lot more for the Middle East in a good way, considering its history throughout the world.

Blair has to be the worst and most unpopular PM, ever. On the other hand right after Winston Churchill would come Maggie Thatcher in the list of greats.

Thatcher adopted lunatic policies and privatized all state owned assets vital to a persons survival. Blair is just a mediocre nobody without a single original thought within him. He remind`s me of a little boy lost in a theme park. He should have stuck to law. He`s out of his depth in politics and unable to represent his country strongly in the face of adversity, and unable to resist pressure from big business. A weak, insecure, insincere, untrustworthy moron. At least Thatcher had backbone.

thatcher had more balls than blair ever will...

ironic isnt it.

labour hasnt made the economy great, they inherited it from Majors Govt. all this spending is using borrowed money...

why spend for the sake of spending...

and chances are we'll have to start paying it back, and it'll probably be a conservative govt who has to sort out the mess - and we'll then have new new labour claiming that the tories have made a mess - when in fact it'll be a mess of the lot in charge at this moment in time.

2009, the can of worms will be open, and expect BIG BIG cutbacks in public spending.

I honestly don't think it is possible to have a worse PM than Bliar. He could not have done it ANY worse. Everything he does sickens and infuriates me.

Seriously, I cannot think of anything he has done that has benefitted me, or anyone I know - on the contrary, everything he has done has either made life far more miserable for people or caused suffering.

Because of him and bush, our two once great nations are now the two most feared and hated on the planet.
