I know he feels the same as me i mean he is always sniffing and touching me! Personally I think age is a number and if you love each other you should just be together! Anyway my question is do you think its ok to have a relationship with a 76 year old tortoise? ps i havent told shadow yet! sent

Go for it. The longest living creature on earth is a tortoise. Didn't the one that Charles Darwin studied in 1848 just die a few months ago? If you are 28, I do think, with a bit of luck, good veggies and happiness, your new mate will outlive you anyway. In that case, age will make a difference.

Even though age is just a number. It can make a difference. At 28 and 76yrs old this is more like a parent/child relationship than a romance. Could it be that maybe you are trying to fill a place in your life that feels left out and your looking for a connection because of it??

Take a step back away from this situation and really evaluate your feelings. Why would you want to get sexually involved with a man that is not going to be able to fulfill your needs or be able to look at you on a equal level?

Doesnt it make you feel uncomfortable that he is "sniffing" you? Why would you want a serious romantic relationship with someone that you feel is a "tortoise" ?

Im sorry but it almost sounds like he is just looking for sex from you, but this is really your choice to make.

If I was you I would just be a friend and let him meet the needs that you are lacking in a father/grandfather figure and look for the romance someplace else.

I thought you meant a man, at first, but a tortoise is even worse ! There's no future in it, he'll only keep you back. You're young, he can't keep pace with you and will eventually accept the relationship is futile and retreat into his shell. Imagine the pressure on your back, trying to stoop to hold his hand, while out walking. Please think again. Once a crawler, always a crawler.....PEOPLE....Fletch is talking about a TORTOISE, for those of you giving serious advise about a 76 yr old man

This isn't right, it makes me feel a bit queasy. Find someone your own age, unless you want your immediate future to be adult nappies, and a man who smells of pee and cabbage, and regulary forgets who you are. A lot of these old men are right randy old so & so's, and I tend to think that this is the situation here. Hes just using the attention you are paying him to get some action with a person young enough to be his Grandchild. Makes me shudder, please have some self respect.

It's the ideal relationship!! cover him with straw & chuck him in a box for winter & feed him soggy bananas & lettuce. Come to think of it, sounds better than what im getting at home:-)..Inspect the tortiose closely though, its quite easy to get genders mixed up, we dont want that do we..:-)

I'm you're age and I'm seeing someone 6 years younger than me, and it's the best relationship I've ever been in. Women live longer than men, so you could be setting yourself up for heartbreak...ps what do you mean by tortoise?...

sadly the international of the greater youthful is changing or maybe though I prepare my faith sometimes i will work out with each thing that is going on interior of diverse denominations why little ones have notably diverse perspectives. My 2 daughter are married and likewise prepare their faith and the two my son-in-regulations do not pass to any church or pracice any faith. One i might say is an Athiest. even with the undeniable fact that, they know the religion of my daughers, have been married in our church yet did not lie or say they have been or going to be churchgoers basically for the sake of it. i could not choose for 2 greater useful youthful adult men. they are sturdy, truthful. frustrating working voters and could not ask for not greater useful husbands. there are various people who run to church homes and are uncharitable in numerous techniques. don't be too rapid to choose your niece's boyfriend, get to comprehend him and discover out the guy he relatively is. faith looks a wierd situation to advance whilst taken out to dinner by utilising somebody for the 1st time and if he exchange into pushing his perspectives on you and inspiring your niece or yourselves in to a debate approximately this then I admit this to be scarey of what he needs on your niece. even though I prepare my very own faith I know the ideals of people of diverse religions yet i don't want them to be forcing their ideals on me.
