That would seem to be hypocrisy. In the story I read, it said that Merriman was dancing after making a big defensive play against the Pats. Turn around is fair play. Sour grapes and all the rest. So why is he so pissed at the Pats for celebrating their win in SD?

I am not sure how replicating a dance by Shawne Merriman is dispresepcting him.

There is no logical human being that can think a dance over a team logo is more disrespectful than a steriod inflated player doing that same dance over a human being that he just slammed into the ground. On top of that, I believe Merriman was quoted as to how often he would like to that dance over Brady the week before the game and since he was COMPLETELY shut down the viewing audience didn't get their fill of dancing entertainment, so the Patriots thought they would help out.

In addition, the low class behavior of the Chargers organization of restricting the 1,00 remaining ticket sales concolidators had to prevent people from outside Southern California from buying tickets was another reason to dance on that stupid logo. The fans were screaming in Brady's ear on every snap, no problem with a little dancing at the end to the tune of deafening silence.

It has nothing to do with being a sore loser. If a team or someone disrespected your team or teammate on your home field then damn right you should be pissed. Anyone in his shoes should be and if not then you have no heart and obviously don't care about your team or teammates. He is 100% correct by saying it shows no class. When a team looses and goes out to congratulate another team on their victory and you rub it in and make fun of them, then you have not respect for the game and no class as a human.

I'm from Philadelphia and I don't think the Patriots have class! That's pretty bad!

Celebrating after a play is a lot different than dancing on a teams logo right after you beat them. That was completely out of line by the Patriots and LT had the right to get angry.

as you may know shawne merriman has a dance he does when ever he gets a sack
so after the game a couple classless patriots players went onto the chargers logo and started doing his dance and disrespecting the chargers (especially shawne merriman)
LT got mad and went over to them and then he got pulled away by someone else and walked off the field
in his post game interview his exact words were: "we lost to the better team today"
so i dont understand why everyone is calling him a sore loser when he said right there that they were the "better team"

I really think if Merriman complain it would be hypocrisy..

you younger kids probably don't know this but any of that crap was not tolerated in pro sports in the past (I'm not old , but older than 25)
it's rude and unprofessional behavior
contrary to popular belief and all the lame reality shows on tv , we aren't all entitled to show boat or receive 15 minutes of fame for doing what's expected of you

Pats did "The Merriman Dance" on the Chargers Logo, after the game. L.T. took it personal. He had visions of going to The Dance. When it fell through. He lost it. His Loyalty is impressive, though.

Merriman should try keeping a low profile. He's lucky the NFL doesn't can his *** for that positive steroid test.

I think that he is really 90% mad that his team lost and 10% mad at the Pats.......

He's still a Class Act, in my eyes, and I'm not a Fan of the Chargers, I'm just a Football Fan

He was just frustrated that after a great season they lost their super bowl hopes. Plus it was the Chargers home field and this show off trying to tick off the home crowd.
