Because the atmosphere is full of oxygen atoms that protect us from much of the harmful UV rays of the sun, as well as other harmful radiation from space. Mostly O2 and O3 (ozone). It relates to why lakes, rivers, seas, and oceans appears blue...H2O.

The sky isn't blue, it purely seems blue. The sky is sparkling and sparkling - purely love it is at night whilst the moon and stars shine by way of it without being altered of their colour. The blue sky colour is an optical phantasm - purely like a rainbow. A rainbow isn't a actual merchandise inspite of the reality that the colors you spot are actual. you additionally could make a rainbow with a backyard hose and a sprinkler head and the solar. The rainbow feels love it is actual and actually there yet once you turn the water off the rainbow is going away. the reason the rainbow has hues is as a results of the fact the easy going right into a rain drop is refracted after it is actual internally contemplated after it is refracted because it exits the drop. the attitude of refraction of the easy is colour based. That produces the rainbow's hues. word that the rainbow consistently seems opposite the solar. The solar must be at your returned. in an identical way the blue colour of the sky is created everywhere in the sky and it feels like there's a actual blue sky besides the undeniable fact that it is going away whilst the solar is going down. the article we call the blue sky is an optical phantasm. The blue sky colour is created whilst photograph voltaic shines in the process the Earth's ecosystem in the process the day. the ambience is generally composed of oxygen, argon and nitrogen gasses. As photograph voltaic shines in the process the atmospheric gasses the countless easy is scattered in all instructions by using the very molecules of the gasses. This scattering technique, called Raleigh Scattering is somewhat wavelength based. Blue easy is scattered in all instructions approximately 10 cases as much as pink easy is scattered and so we see generally blue easy coming from the direction of the sky. The blue sky is easy scattered from the molecules interior the Earth's ecosystem… The rainbow is created by using refraction of light interior a rain drop. by using ways… The clouds are white because of the fact the approach for easy scattering from debris the dimensions of condensed water, which bypass to make up clouds, is a non-wavelength based scattering called Mie Scattering. All wavelengths of light scatter with the comparable intensity so the clouds seem white. outdoors the ambience there is not any scattering to make a blue sky...

The Sun's light has all the colors. It looks white, because when all the colors are mixed together, our eyes see white.

When sunlight enters the Earth's atmosphere, the different gasses in the atmosphere cause the different colors to be absorbed in different ways. Our atmosphere is mostly the gases nitrogen and oxygen. These gases can absorb the color blue easier than red. When they give off light they give off the blue color in all directions. So, from all directions from where the atmosphere is absorbing sunlight, we can see this blue color.

Dust and water in the atmosphere also produce colors. Rainbows and beautiful sunrises and sunsets are caused by dust and water droplets. Reflections are usually white and greys, reds and oranges. Refractions produce rainbows.

;-D Enjoy the view. Without sunlight and atmosphere everything tends to be white or black.

The sky doesn't change color with the whims of our knowledge. What exactly are you asking?

The blue color of the sky is due to Rayleigh scattering. As light moves through the atmosphere, most of the longer wavelengths pass straight through. Little of the red, orange and yellow light is affected by the air.

However, much of the shorter wavelength light is absorbed by the gas molecules. The absorbed blue light is then radiated in different directions. It gets scattered all around the sky. Whichever direction you look, some of this scattered blue light reaches you. Since you see the blue light from everywhere overhead, the sky looks blue.

hi
the air around the earth is a reason , becouse air around the earth (atmospher) contain dust or many small particle flying on air , these dust or amount of small particles roled as difusing light to invironoment , it make difusion of light and light of invironoment , but out side of earth there are no air , the sky is not blue .
thanks
