3)There is little to say about my hometown, in Hlatikulu, Switzerland. It is a small town of only 8,000 people. One of the main industries is farming. Another main industry, due to Hlatikulu being the southern capital, is working for the government.

It just doesn't sound right to me, and my writing is crap, can anyone re-word this paragraph for me, or is it good?

What you wrote is fine but it could do with a few changes. here's a better version -

There is little to say about my hometown, Hlatikulu, the southern capital of Switzerland. It is a small town of only 8,000 people. Most people there work for the government. Another common occupation is farming. I love visiting my hometown.

When talking about my hometown there is very little to say. When you are located in Hlaikulu, Switzerland, a small town of 8,000 there are limited avenues available for a job seeker. Hlaikulu is located so far south that the popular workforce is either for the goverment or Farm working.

There you go

Well, you should choose a fantasy name for the country as well.

Switzerland is not a match:
- no village/town named Hlatikulu or anything similar (the Swiss languages are German, French and Italian)
- nothing with less than 10000 inhabitants is a town here, and nothing with so few people could be a regional "capital"
- actually nowhere the main industry would be farming (only in a few villages) or working for the government

I live in the small southern capital of Switzerland. Many of Hlatikula's eight thousand residents work the land as farmers or provide services for the people through their government occupations.

First draft... what do you think?
