geometry is used in every sphere of life just look around cubical room ur sitting in, cylindrical wires that u use, circumference of ur mom's round chapatis, water level of ur bucket, length and breadth of carpet which u see before buying it.........

There is geometry every where... The sun and earth are the perfect examples for a sphere.... Also there are a lot of other shapes that form part of the regular and irregular geometric figures...
And you can express any object in the planet in the form of a mathematical equation...

geometry in real life - it has innumerable examples.. for example anything you see around you is gemoetric.. it has certain dimensions. for example, a playing cube, a thick book (cuboid), an ice cream cone, a tumbler, anything for that matter!
