He is quiet unappealing in physical appearance.
Getting that old man bull dog look happening.
While I like many of his thoughts, more and more often he's sounding dangerously out of touch with the youth. His ability for contemporary thinking is a bit impaired.

Well, it could be that I find Congressman Kucinich to look like a rat so much more revolting that the tight jawed stiff necked nutjob Senator from Arizona that it hardly bothers me that McCain looks a little weird.
And if he did say that then he's an absoltue moron. But then he's like 71 years old so maybe he has Alzheimers. I seriously doubt he'll back out of the Presidential contest. He's got too many financial backers on both sides of the aisle propelling him forward.
Not that McCain wasn't already whacko like Whoopie when he started siding with the liberals.
My vote's on Congressman Ron Paul. He's the only prospective Presidential candidate who stands for the United States Constitution regardless of the political winds.

Im hoping you dont vote... ever. Choosing your candidate on what he or she looks like is the lamest excuse for not being a good citizen I've ever heard. Grow up and pay attention, vote according to the issues a candidate supports, not how good or poorly someone looks on TV.
Perhaps you should spend a couple years in a north Vietnamese POW camp (as Senator McCain did, defending this country), see how well YOU turn out. I have a feeling, that first morning you get pig crap instead of a latte for breakfast, that'll be enough for you.

John mcCain is actually a rather nice looking patriot who knows a hell of a lot more about war than any college kid. When one is in college, their idealism re: the world always erupts into anti war feelings but that idealism becomes reality as you get older.
He thoroughly knows the good, bad and ugly about wartime and I believe this man loves this country with all his heart.

I don't chose my leaders by the way they look. That's incredibly shallow. That means you would not have voted for Lincoln. I never heard of the statement regarding college students, either. Maybe he suggested they educated themselves about the issues and the candidates before voting--could that be it?

Since when do we elect people based on looks? No I think Michael Moore is the most revolting.Maybe John McCain has a point, from the basis of your question,I might agree.I guess you could care less about the torture he endured in VietNam for years.I dont like John McCains politics but I respect the man for what he did endure and for his service for our country.

It is just you. And I am not familiar with the statement you say he said about the college students not being allowed to vote.

I loathe the man also. I doubt the republicans would nominate him for the election...he is kinda flip flopping on key issues.

wonder what you would look like if you spent over 5 years in a NVA prison with daily beatings and hippie protesters calling you a baby killer?

I think it is just you and your sense of aesthetics. It might also be that your beliefs are contrary to his and are staining your judgement of him.
