1. Socialized Healthcare. It's doing some wonderful things in Sweden. The few disadvantages it has would offset the benefits of having all Americans cared for.
2. Lessening the economic divide between the richest 1% and the poorest people in America to increase the overall standard of living. Probably through minimum wage increases and mandatory benefits.
3. A complete overhaul of our foreign policy with a move toward diplomacy and working with the UN. The UN is only as useless as the effort you put in.
4. Make ourselves energy independent. For god's sake, make the investment in solar energy and then we don't have to pay for s*** for the rest of eternity (minus repairs). Why do we insist on relying on corrupt and unstable countries for our energy when we have all the money in the world not to be?

1. 50% increase in pay for active and retired military.
2. 60% cut in any program that supports OOW babies.
3. Order the immediate execution of all violent felons, including serial killers, multiple murders, child molestors and rapistist. Maybe add all major weight drug dealers and those busted 3 or more times for major crimes.

I would make all tax cuts permanent, give a larger tax return to families with 2 children or more, and super-secure the border.

To begin with I would not want to be, and one cannot be too sure of the issues prevalent in2008. However, if it were hypothetically now that I would by devine fiat be President, briefly
1- get the troops out of Iraq
2-Repair the healthcare system
3- Commence REAL dialogue with friends and foes
