That seems to be the million dollar question. Throughout history there have been wars and little peace was achieved out of them. Until people understand that war only brings about war, there won't be any peace. We can't get along because of people trying to claim the land. GOD owns this earth and we are to preserve it. Until people come to realize that, there can be no peace. Thank you and GOD bless.

First if we define peace by what seems to be the popular answer - a state of euphoria, highlighted by symetry and lack of competing ideas.

Then some can't see a current condition of "peace" as long as competing ideologies exist, so the mind is convinced that until a state of total agreement or symetry is acheieved, peace is not at hand or doesn't exist.

So war being defined as the ratification and elemination of competing thoughts, thereby rendering peace.

Not that I agree, because [tolerance] and acceptance of one's rightful positioning within the universe and in relation to others or other elements is essential to peace and not necessarily the ratification and elimination thereof.

Conceptually with this thought the lowest common denominator is "all men are created equally" and "ideas of superiority" are superficial and non essential in reality and serve only to create war which is the outward expression of superiority.

With that being said, war is the outward expression of superiority related to an internal perception, and has nothing to do with peace.

So it is impossible for war to be part of the conquest for peace; peace already exist.

Peace = tolerance + acceptance

perhaps it's because of the misconception that war could eliminate the possible threats to a state of contentment for a given people at a certain point in time. as some people believe, peace is achieved as a point of success wherein good ties are established. however, as inevitable misunderstanding come about, the contradiction that surfaces seems to pose a threat to that vision of peace.

war can be described as the product of misled thought, discontentment and fear. because of the domination of negative beliefs, people tend to become blinded to simpler and more peaceful ways of resolving conflicts.

still, war isn't exactly the favorable way to go. after all, it contradicts the ideals of peace. where there is violence, there is unrest. instead of adding to that unrest, perhaps people should try to understand themselves others, and what they really perceive peace to be.

In a war, both sides want to attain a kind of peace from which they will benefit from. Basically, each opposing side sees violence as a final solution to end ALL violence. This is absurd because once violence takes root, it will sprout into more forms of violence. VIOLENCE GIVES WAY TO MORE VIOLENCE. It will not be an answer to anything. As long as one side uses violence, the other finds an even more violent way to make the tables of war turn in favor of their side, and vice versa. It will be an unending cycle of bloodshed and peace will never be attained. SO LONG AS WAR IS SEEN AS A MEANS TO PEACE, WAR WILL ALWAYS BE SEEN AS THE END TO THAT MEANS, AND NOT PEACE.

Because, sometimes it is like that, peace cannot be achieved without war.
But usually, people and governments go for it for grandeur or economic gain, or territorial gain, or cultural gain, or revenge in history or otherwise.
Wars have been fought for peace, in history, but it is very difficult to control it when your are at war.

Watch "The Secret". It is a great production that mention that even when people focus on anti-war, they are actually activating more wars in their mindset. Powerful illustration about the mindset.

Man always take things into their own hands, thinking that with brutal force can solve many things. This happens from baby times till we grow up.

Hope it helps.

Violence is the backbone of life on this planet. The more you study natural science, the more you realize the necessity for violence. No one makes war to achieve peace. We only fulfull our destiny as inhabitants on this awful planet. I wonder if this is the case in the entire universe.

That is just a lame excuse. There is always something else. The rich make money during a war And it helped to thin out the baby boomers.

we practice selective anihlilation of mayors and government officials, for example to create a vacuum, then we fill that vacuum, when popular war advances, peace is closer.

In other words it involves people have way to much power for their own good.

properly why is there conflict??? it truly is all because 2 facets or extra do no longer agree or compromise with one yet another and with a view to succeed in an settlement, they comply with a conflict. properly right it truly is the way it quite works, even as human beings strive against they have distinct perspectives conflicting one yet another, with a view to succeed in a particular settlement they ought to strive against for his or her "perspectives/reviews" till one looses and the different wins his "perspectives/reviews". And even as such perspectives is gained, it truly is going to likely be the prevailing celebration that the competition ought to agree upon. properly it truly is between the elementary the reason why conflict is made with a view to attain peace.
