Introduce yourself. Tell them your name and what homeroom you are in.
Start with a BOLD statement, like, " there are rat hairs in your hot dogs".
Do research on the web about how the government allows a certain amount of really gross stuff in our food supply.
Like poo and insect wings and dirt.
Provide a solution to the problem: don't eat in the cafeteria.
End with a call to action. A call to action is a request to your audience to do something, like sign a petition or stop eating at the cafeteria.
If you don't want to do something so BOLD, so gross. Start off in the same way by making a statement like, "Our school is the best." Then provide facts that support your opinion and finish with a call to action - like show your spirit and wear our school colors.
One of the best speeches of all time, besides Abe Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, is a song from the play/movie "The Music Man". Watch "Trouble" and you will find that Professor Harold Hill starts off by stating a problem, providing facts to support his point of view, then provides a solution and a call to action.
Bold statement, facts to support the statement, solution, call to action.
Good luck.

A speech is just a bunch of words unless it is something you are passionate about. Pick a subject that you are most interested in and it will show . Is your speech supposed to be just an informative one "Why I like Horses" or one the raises awareness "What to do when...." Whatever type of speech it is pick a subject close to your heart. Do you have younger siblings? If so try the speech out on them before hand. Watch their reaction to each paragraph, are they interested or yawning? Ask your parent to help check your grammar and spelling before turning it in. Most important...make it fun and have fun with it.....Good Luck!

- In God We Trust on Our Dollar Bill, it's something we all have in common. Do a speech on trust, & the things that entail, & end it with a challenge . . . That would take Guts, Got Some ?

Speak about how young so called stars -like Paris Hilton, Nicole Richi and many others... , and why you don't look up to them. Search on them... find out why. Then speak about who you do look up to in this vast world. I don't know if its the doctors and animal conservationists, scientists, and technicians, people who work to make the world run it's best, people that help us run our best. I don't know just a thought.
And if you do look up to them...the girls...eeekkkkk

fool proof subject, how to make something. How to bake a cake, how to wash a car, etc. Be sure to be really specific in all the steps so no matter who does it, they can take your steps and do it no problem. Good luck
