On receipt of the change they tipped the waiter 2 USD.The balance USD 3 was shared 1.5 each among the TWO.
Now each of them has spent 23.5 ( 25 less 1.5 recd back ) and that makes it 47 and the tips is 2 totalling to 49.Can anyone tell me WHERE IS THE BALANCE ONE USD.

As you ask, I herewith answered you that two persons who were paying the same amount for each transaction, so, when they pay 50 Dollars i.e. 25-25; then 3 Dollars were returned i.e. 1.5-1.5.
But you are not going to inform in your question that they were paid the tip of 1 Dollar, hence you are finding a dollar.
If paid then it would bo 0.5 - 0.5 ratio

You got the question wrong, dumbass!!
They each paid $23-50 for their meal, making their total $47, leaving the $3 change with which to tip the waiter and lose $1.

you have not mentioned how many dollars were accutually spent ,it seems that you have missed somepart of your question. Actually the question is a father gave his two sons 25 dollars apiece they both went to market and had lunch where they gave 50 dollar for the bill which was for the amount 45dollars on receipt of balance they gave 2dollars tip , and balace with them was now3 dollars.
