Well based on what i've learned over the years i would have to say that 1+1 is equal to 2.

Depends on the bse system you are using. if you are using a base 4,8,16 or 10 the answer is 2 but if you are using a binary system the answer is 0 because in the binary system the numbers 0 and 1 are the only numbers permitted.
