recently, i have noticed that whenever i touch something with the tip of my finger.. i get to have a static electricity conducted through. i produce these sparks that hurts a little, and is extremely annoying.
i can't touch the whiteboard i'm using withoutr getting that... i can't touch our gate with the tip of my finger.. and i even get the same reaction when i touch our car!! what's going on??

Is it winter where you live? (Cold weather and people have the heat on?) If so it is a build up of static electricity. People naturally conduct electricity. When the heat is on and the air is dry, the static builds up and boom, you get a shock. I used to get shocked all the time at work when I would walk across the office and into the warehouse. (We have a huge metal door there.) Now I touch the wall first then the door and I don't get shocked anymore. Not a very scientific answer, but I hope it helps.

you have emotionally charged yourself...
1 car: the battery termainals must have earthed with the car body.
2 whiteboard: the duster used to wipe off the board is a fur type material that charges the flat surface.
3 gate: well, same as 1 above

During the winter, the humidity tends to be lower especially inside where the heat is on. You're just building up a static charge. If you have a humidifier, turn it on. That will help a lot.

Oh, that means you have a high voltage energy! Actually, whenever my hands got tired and almost painful, I could even see a sort of steam going upward. Coz those things also happened to me. But then, just simply vanished everytime I press my hands on the glass table or glass door or anything that's made of glass.

Charging Matter- As a Matter of speaking it could be your carpet or sox as you walk through the House...Is your house well grounded outside..What you wan't to do is, touch your cat as often as you can..( Dis-Charging Electrical static to Ground ) It's a Circuit path thing !

A static electricity charge builds up in your body and discharges when you touch another conductor. To allay annoyance, maybe discharge to another person?
