It's very hard to find good products that don't test on animals... Mainly because the most common products sold today DO cruelly test on animals.
a common test that companies use on animals is the "Draize Eye Irritancy Test." companies test their product in the animals' eyes a number of times and look for a reaction (there's almost ALWAYS a reaction). it causes the animals great pain, and, worst of all, this test is often used for beauty products... so basically we're torturing animals so that we can have our shampoo and foundation. sick, sick, sicckkk!!!
Some companies that DO test their products on animals (DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS): Clairol, CoverGirl, Finesse, Pantene, Sally Hansen, Glade, MAX Factor, Jovan, Nair, Neutrogena, Listerine, Playtex, Coppertone, L'Oreal, Olay, Procter & Gamble Co (the owner of hundreds of well-known brand names, and one of the WORST companies for animal testing), SoftSoap, Clorox, Arm & Hammer, MAC, Jergens, Secret, Old Spice
