Why do you bother to answer questions in this category if you have nothing positive or constructive to add to the debate.

If you wish to leave derogatory remarks, at least have the courage to show your email address so that I can respond personally.

Bring it on!!

literary_angel - I'm not at all angry, just curious about the need for "haters" to spread their views.

A very good question!!

I don't answer questions in this section - derogatory or otherwise - but I am a christian.

I don't have an answer to your question directly, but an observation that maybe hints at the answer.
The same thing happens in the Religion and Spirituality section of Yahoo Answers, people with no religious convictions or beliefs answer questions with derogatory or disparaging remarks.

Maybe this says a lot about human nature. Maybe Christians should - and do - know better.

As Christians, we should be prepared and able to cope with this - after all our own teachings tell us to expect trouble for following Christ.

I do, however, find it saddening that Christians should feel the need to act as you have descibed in your question. I am speaking from a position of ignorance at the moment admittedly - I haven't looked through this section of the site and read the remarks you mention: I shall now.

I pray that if there are Christians doing this, then they will have a change of heart and learn to fulfil our Lords most important command to his followers:

"Love one another as I have loved you."

I can only apologise on their behalf and hope that they will see the error of their maybe well intentioned but misguided efforts.

In Genesis a million:4, God observed that easy exchange into solid. yet, in Gen 9:13, curiously that God all quickly found out easy wasn't solid sufficient. because of the fact it did not refract by way of water droplets, into the spectrum regularly popular because of the fact the rainbow. So He replaced the actual residences of light, from what they were, interior the centuries between GEN a million and GEN 9, to what, if He were doing his job spectacular, they could have been interior the 1st place, it is what they are actually. With all due admire, different than slicing Him some slack because of the fact GEN a million exchange into His first day on the job, how do Bible Believers gentle over the jarring conflict between what easy exchange into, and what easy now's?

Feel free to email me.
It's called diversity and if you don't want everyone's opinion then maybe you shouldn't be asking questions in an open forum. What you may see as negative may not be the case at all. We are a sum of our experience and that is what makes us different. If everyone agreed with everything you said wouldn't that be boring. You may not like the answers folks give but you have to recognize their right to give them. It's called FREE SPEECH and if you post a quesiton on here you are in a sense recoginizing that given liberty. If you don't like and it bothers you go I suggest not posing quesitons or make your own board to where just you can ask and answer questions.

I'm afraid that too many of us have forgotten the primary commands of God, and that is to love. We are supposed to speak the truth in love, and not just to any particular group. But the truth is often exactly what someone does NOT want to hear, and we are therefore hated. Faithful are the wounds from a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are full of deceit. Think about that.

i agree, but actually what would heteros know about girlfriend trouble, boyfriend trouble, insecurities, in law troubles, relationship problems. i agree they need to mind there own business and handle "there" problems we have enough to worry about on our own. i wish they could get past who we are in bed with, and see us as people too and treat us as such.
the only thing we dont have to worry about is divorce.
but anyway, they need derogatory remarks elsewhere.
its like if you dont like us, leave us alone, why is that so much to ask. if i dont like a person i dont be around them its that simple.
but as they say, misery loves company, heteros are so miserable.
peace out to the gay friendly crowd.

well - I truly agree with what you're saying... If one has nothing good to say then they should rather shut up.

Keep it real.
