that doesn't mean he likes you... but it's a good thing he doesn't like your best friend if it concerns them going out.
just ask him... tell him that you like him, and so does your best friend. he will most likely laugh when you say your best friend does and say "nooo way!!" then encourage him to mention you too. "well... then what about if i liked you...?.."

You can't pick a guy that doesn't like your best friend as a person so the two things you need to do is see if your best friend would be cool with you and this guy being together and then whether you end up with this guy as a bo or just a friend you need to find out what gives between him and your girl. You might have to choose and I would go with the best friend.

He might like you but wouldnt it be awful to have a boyfriend who hates your best friend?? You would constantly be having to choose which one to hang out with. If she is a truly good friend perhaps it is best to not even explore what may be with this boy.

you probably don't want yo hurt your BF feelings and you probably don't want to loose the friendship that you share with the guy just ask him but don't feel weird about it and move on if he is not interested and he mustn't want to loose you as a friend either.
