I am 38 and I don't have a lot of friends but it isn't because I don't try. Women over 35 don't turn sour they just have a lot of issues to deal with and they sometimes don't have the time to commit to a friendship.

I find that by the time one reaches 35, they've lost faith with others, they lack the trust it takes to be friends. Also they're own lives are so full of their own problems, there just isn't room for someone elses problems. Ask what friends do, they listen to one another's problems, try to be supportive, give and take advise. Who really needs a new friend with more headaches?

I agree and don't know why it is so hard to befriend people nowadays. I am in 40 and live in Indiana. Email me and we can chat.
