If you have regular periods (and sometimes irregular) then performing a pregnancy test the day after your period is due can give a a reasonable answer. As you are 6 days late then the chances are the test will be accurate enough and tests that you buy over the counter are as accurate as urine itests in Doctors surgeries. The only thing that is more accurate is a blood test, called a quantative Beta HCG (I won't bore you with a definition) but is only really necessary if a pregnancy cannot be determined by urinalysis.

You can take the test the day you are due. Some tests state even before, the later it is the more accurate you can presume it to be as the HCG hormone level (the pregnancy hormone which the tests look for) will be higher. Six days late, the result should be correct.

No its not to early, you can take the Clearblue test a few days before your period, so if your 6 days late now it's a good time to take the test.

u can take some tests as early as 4 days before your period or just wait till u are late then take one

Take a test now. you are 6 day late, you know you can take a test when you are 4 day from your period start date.

I had to wait a week before I got a positive pregnancy result, the two that i did before were both negative. I would also suggest (although) you probably know this, its always best to use first morning urine as it contains the highest level of HGC pregnancy hormone in it. That way if you are pregnant it more likely to show up. hope you get what you want...goodluck

I took a pregnancy test on the day of my missed period, and for both of my pregnancies the showed positive.

Its fine to do a test u can do 1 from the day u were due ur period. Good luck hope u get the result u want. xx

i can take a test i believe up to 3 days before your expected period so it should show up
