In regional northern NSW and southern QLD an expression is commonly used when it starts to rain. I may have not spelt 'hue' correctly, sounds like hu-ee. Thanks.

Blame it on Donald's nephew. Dewy and Luey never made it to the big time though. They're still sore about this. Huey made it all the way to the top though. He was a massive success on the jazz circuit in the late 30's and from then on he was part of mainstream phonics.

If there is a lack of rain in the area or people are always happy to see rain it could be "bring it down...oooweee" same as yahoo, woohoo, yeehaw ,an expression of excitement

Send it down how, is the only reference I can find. I did a bit of checking, couldn't find anything in references to Rain, Austrailian phrases. Sorry, I tried though.
