They should have given the Iraq people Saddam years ago after the American military caught him if Bush's politics and agendas over Iraq were true. Bush failed to do that remember!!! Americans are not ignorant people, only the Neocons are.

I say the entire episode is a circus that should NOT have been allowed to be conducted by Iraqis only. If US military police were assigned as jailors, they should also supervise the execution(s) to a standard in accordance with the severity of the situation. Ditto Saddam's half brother whose head was severed in the execution process.
What kind of people? what kind of government are the US setting up in a supposedly democratic Iraq? Where a condemned man is harangued, insulted and cheered after the execution. The US cannot just wash its hands over the whole affair. If they can detain "unlawful combatants" in Guantanamo, they too can act more responsibly in these executions.

Howdy, Y'all!!!
It seems, that Saddam was, indeed, deserving of his punisment, but, so many of the worlds leaders deserve the same or worse, that it can hardly be called fair, by any uniform standard!!! I feel, that 25 or 30 of the worllds leaders ought to have been executed, right alongside him, for their crimes against humanity, as well!!! However, there is no indication, that there ever has been fairness, applied to the leadership of this planet, and, that's probably the way it will always be!!! Institute a "Fairness" doctrine, for ALL world leaders, and, you've made a "Giant leap for mankind", in the way people are governed, that's for sure!!!!

It appeared to me as retribution from peoples who wanted retribution. Those same people that carried out the execution appeared to have no respect for either the law or humanity. I do not care what the religion is, nor the crimes commited, all men should be able to find their peace with their maker, on the way to meet him.
The taunts and cell phone video were enough to tell me these are not righteous people. That fault lays on the hands of Saddams jailers all the way up to Maliki. Because they did not perform their jobs in accordance with the laws, humanity nor any religion I know of.

Whatever it may be,killing is a crime,Bush killed Saddam but Bush is not getting a punishment, WHY? If someone else other than the person who has the authority killed him. They would be put to jail, right? So,the U.N. must punish Bush for killing "a" human(s).

It's unhuman and absolutely non-modern to hang a guy but if he was alive and stayed in jail-that would cause great mass of problems. Different attackers would seize something and ask freedom for him-that might be aweful! It's a two-sided stick!
