Can someone please explain to me WHY che guevara is so popular? Who is he really? What did he do? Why do people worship him? What is it with Che Guevara? I see a lot of people wearing Che Guevara stuff but not Fidel Castro stuff wdup with that? i dont support them but im just CURIOUS.

A communist poster boy..!.Half the people who wear his t-shirt wouldn't be able to tell you his history...Fidel's partner in the Cuban revolution..later sent by Castro to spread revolution ..suffered a violent death after his capture..in Bolivia! Many believe Castro sent him away knowing the out come..as Che who was much more popular and more democratic minded conflicted with the egotistical Fidel !

He is an icon in the Hispanic world he opposed imperialism and in the beginning Communism was a nice concept in regards to social justice however in the hands of the wrong people (Stalin, etc) it was a disaster he died young and kind of like James dean he is frozen in time...did not live long enough to wear out his welcome like Castro, I do somewhat admire the Cubans for their pride in not being a lackey to the U.S. even though communism is morally bankrupt, I believe some people wear Che apparel simply as a fashion statement, if one investigates communism maybe they would not wear Che gear, I have relatives in Cuba that emigrated from Spain they suffer economically I hope someday Cubans are more prosperous without depending on handouts form U.S. and free of communism.He did not smoke weed you lame a#$%@#$s! he had severe asthma.
