Like the rest of the web, you can find a million rip-off sites that will tell you how to waste your money buying 'Penny Shares' or whatever the latest 'fad' is (dot.com boom anyone ?).

People who have spent hours doing their own research will invest their own money and (maybe) tell you afterwards (i.e. after the price has already gone up)

You CAN pay good money to an 'Investment Adviser' who will be happy to advise you - only problem is, most of them do worse than the FTSE average.

SO - unless you are prepared to do some work yourself, I suggest you put all your hard-earned cash into a ISA Index Tracker, except the FTSE is at an all time high, Interest and Inflation is going up & maybe Shares are over valued ?

Sorry, I fastread this question and thought you were asking about Stocks, I make them with or without spikes in the neckband, they go down well at village fetes especially if you can get the local bobby shackled into a set and leave him there a while....

don't be lazy, research companies that you unerstand, and go with what you know (from warren Buffet).

If you're too busy to spend a few hours everyday keeping up with the companies that you invested in, then stick it in a mututal fund.

Investing in stock without research=gambling. Don't gamble your money, invest it properly.
