Depends on how you hang. Mine sticks out a bit, so it has always been a lot more comfortable to have it stick straight up in my briefs. Boxers are worthless in my opinion, why wear anything then. I have friends tho that hang theirs down, but they seem to have less of a bulge than I do anyway.
