If at work just go with the flow and when you finish work forget they even exist!
If on the other hand you know fake people in your personal time, get rid of them. Cut all communications. These people are useless in your life!

Get rid of them. It is just too time consuming and mind-numbingly painful to hang around with such people. I am very selective in who I choose to be around and everyone knows that I am quite unavailable so they don't expect too much of me in that respect. I can't stand fakeness so I refuse to play into the majority of the population who are playing it.
