hi i am going back to the domincan for a holiday last year i took my curling tongs . i was not able to use these as they never got hot would any body know would it be best to buy some say from ebay u states as they use the same voltige i have got gas tongs but you cant take the gas on a plane thanks

just buy the gas when you get out there!!, im sure you will find some were wot sells it

Does it have to be curling tongs... what about bendy rollers you can get ones that heat up or you can use the non heated ones.....
put them on damp hair that has some curl enhancing product in and leave to dry naturally ( it gets so hot out there they wont take very long to dry) or try platting it...you can get some nice natural waves doing that!!

I'm sure you can buy voltage converters somewhere that will allow you to use your own curling tongs when you're over there.
