Comedy series about a rehabilitation clinic?

Im searching for a Comedy series about a rehabilitation clinic.
I believe its made in the late ninetees, early 00's.
The main character used to be an actriess, she's addicted to booze and men.
Her roommate/best friend is a lesbian girl.
Her mother has also been an actress.
The lesbian girl dies later in the season.
I guess it's an US comedy.
I hope someone can tell me what's the name of the show (instead of make stupid remarks just to score some points....)
