It was on late 50's early 60's. A puppet show about a cowboy, think he wore glasses. I remember one feather enabled him to understand what his horse was saying. What did the other 3 feathers do? Hope you can help, my friends old enough to remember it are joining me in a senior moment over this!

One feather gave Dusty the dogthe power of speech
another did the same for rocky the horse

Four Feather Falls was the third puppet TV show produced by Gerry Anderson for Granada Television, from an idea by Barry Gray. Gray, most noted as a composer who created the theme songs for many of the Andersons' creations, also wrote the first episode.
The series is set in the late 19th Century Western town of Four Feather Falls, Kansas and features the adventures of its Sheriff Tex Tucker who was given four magic feathers by Indian Chief Kalamakooya as a reward for saving the life of Makooya, the chief's son. Two of these feathers allow his guns to swivel and fire automatically and the other two allow his horse (Rocky) and his dog (Dusty) to speak English.

Yes, but they were all of their time. What I mean by that is the memories are great and at that time they were the best thing ever but if you watch old replays now on the net or a dvd they look not only dated but are very crude and not nearly as good as you remember. I recently bought a boxed set from Amazon of a tv show I loved as a young teen, this is a tv from 20 years ago and I've only watched the first couple of discs because it's quite honestly now it's a bag of crap! I wish I hadn't bought the set, it's ruined the fond memory I had. The fact is that very, very few shows stand up to the test of time, they don't age well unlike films and it's probably only comedies that do well because what was funny is still funny regardless of what the set looked like and what's happening in the background.
