I have been having unprotected sex!! I had sex on the 5th of january through to the 15th without protection!! I did get the morning after pill and took it on the 11th but the pill only works for the last 72 hours so it doesnt cover some of the days previous!! I also stupidly continued having sex after taking the pill without protection!! I found out that my most fertile days were from the 9th - 15th of this month and i have had intercourse on those days!! Even though i took the morning after pill, is there still a chance that i could still get prenant from the 72 hours before that the pill didnt cover and also the times after taking the pill inwhich i had intercourse?? What are the chances!!

Ok, sexually transmitted diseases aside, you're obviously worried about being pregnant, so lets deal with that....

Having had unprotected sex, there is always a chance that you could be pregnant. Taking the morning after pill can prevent a pregnancy but it's success diminishes rapidly the longer you leave it, up to 72 hours. It also only prevents pregnancy for sex prior to taking it. i.e. it offered you no protection whn you had sex afterwards....

Now, I don't want to worry you, but if you are pregnant, having taken the Morning After Pill could have implications on the well being of the baby. If you plan to have a Termination if you are pregnant, then this is not relavent. If however you are pregnant and decide you want to keep your baby, you need to speak with your doctor sooner rather than later.

And finally, if you're not pregnant, then please, please please go and speak with your doctor about what form of contraceptiuon would be best for you and your boyfriend. Until then, use a condom.

Maybe your biggest problem isn't whether your going to be pregnant, but if you might get some kind of disease. Unprotected sex now a days can be a death sentence.

All you can do is wait and see. Buy condoms if you dont want to get pregnant or diseased.
