I worked for a guy(business) and was never paid for the work. The total amount is $142 and I've been getting the run around for 3 months. "the hold up is on someone elses end". - is his latest excuse.

My question is, what am I entitled to sue for? The origional $142, how about court costs? any other expenses? intrest? my costs to drive to another city for the hearing?

Only people that KNOW please.

You can sue in small claims for anything, but what you'll get is the 142. If the judge likes you you might get interest and mileage. Can you PROVE you worked for the guy?
