Gender doesn't make a difference in true friendship. You need a certain maturity to make friends in the first place!

Oh dear,
It is really good to have both genders, but make sure you express equally as the boys can change later if he loves and try to elminate your girlfriend and take control of you.
Never let your girl friend go away, as boys can emotionally control and you will be in a position left with no where to go!!!!!!!!!!!Good luck!

For true friendship the girl or boy are same, but there is a chances that the friendship will converted in to love if you have a boy friend. be careful about this.

nothings wrong with it. even me some of my friends are boys and the mostly i talk to in the classroom are my two boy seatmates.but im still a girl. and its okay too to be friend with a girl coz you will feel much comfy with them coz you are mostly alike with each other.nothings wrong as long as your intention is for good and not bad.besides friends are not chosen.. a true friend?everyone has that...believe me im friendly....hehehehehehe

friend is freind. it does not matter whether he is a boy or a she is a girl. a true frendship is always successful. b4 makin' frend you shud not believe on the concept of the movie HUMTUM . that ek ladka aur ek ladki kabhie dost nahi ho sakte. i.e. a boy n a gal can't be frendz.

if u wonna true frdship then doesnt matter whom u have frdship,wheather a girl or a boy. but i think a girl can b more comfortable with a girl then a boy.

wel dear both r gud in their own places as long as u know ur limits.boy frens wont feel jealous of u n gals can understand u better.I personally suggest u should have both so as2 make ur own experience
