You should have been deleting both your Temporary Internet files and your Temp files all along. You should do it before every defrag. And DON'T use any software. Just go to C:\Documents and Settings\your name\Local Settings\ to find each folder. Don't delete the folders, just open them, and click on Edit (top of the "page"), and click Select All, then hold down the Shift key, and hit the Delete key, and they'll be gone.
Oh, and it's completely safe to do. Just don't do it until after you've restarted your computer, if you've installed any software since the last time it was started. That's all.

Its easy. By 2 ways u can delete temporary files.
1. Click start menu>programs>accessories> disk clean up and then select to partition u want to clear temp files.
2. Go to search button. Select partition u want to delete temp files. In search box type *.tmp and click search button. All temporary files will be listed. select all, hole shift button and press delete button.
It is 100% safe & by doing this ur PC speeds up.

yes u delete temporary file daily because best performance or urs computer, first u go start>search>for file and folder open a search results windows, select all file and folder. and write down *.tmp and look in active drive than delete all tem files
and right click in ineternet explorer and go internet options click delete cookies and delete file
