Missed it yesterday and only saw the end where the son went down for the murder although I think he didn't actually do it - help!!!!

The son didn't go down it was her boyfriend! She came home early and found her step brother in her underwear drawer.He tried it on with her and they argued at the top of the stairs and she fell down-well i think he kinda pushed her myself! the boyfriend who had heard her screams ran into the house but not knowing the layout opened the cellar door by mistake. he found her at the bottom of the stairs and tried to help but she was concussed and thought it was still stepbrother so screamed a him to keep away. he was trying to reassure her but she kept backing away then fell down cellar steps to her death. so if he hadn't have come in she would still be alive! So unfair that he got sentenced to murder though! Hope this helps. Oh n that main copper his son went loopy and had to be put in a secure hostel! I love Trial and Retribution stories!!

No it was an accident, her brother tried to get fresh with her ( the perv) and she fell down the first lot of stairs but was still alive. The boy came in and found her on the floor. In her confused state, she thought it was her brother after her again ,tried to escape and fell down the cellar and broke her neck. The brother told his Father what had happened, but the Father told him not to tell anyone. So the innocent boy was sent to prison.

It was really sad. Turned out Emily was going out with that Mike guy, you know the cleaners son, but she needed to concentrate on uni so she went home early that night to tell him it was over. That all happened outside whilst the step brother, James was watching inside. Turns out he was in love with her or something cos when she went in she caught him snooping in her room, then he tried it on with her but got real aggressive and through her down the stairs, she screamed and James left, but mike came in and tried to help her but she was really scared and though he was James so kept backing off until she fell down the basement stairs, he was so sad but panicked and ran away. Anyway the police found him and he was sent to jail because no one believed what really happened James got away with it. The mum and the dad split up so he could leave for his girlfriend, and the police guys son was sent to a clinic to get help because he was mentally ill with post trauma or something. I t was really sad, does anyone know if there's any chance to see it again?

It was the son ...(step-brother) wot did it but the cleaner's son took the rap.
It was a bit confusing bcz they looked so similar....but thereby hung the tale....
Tracey Barlow didn't fool Plod though......she's been charged with moider.
