I felt good movement around 20 weeks, but doctors usually don't become too concerned unless you're 24 weeks and still not feeling movement. Usually, at 20 weeks you're about time for a midterm ultrasound. That will tell you if there's anything wrong that would be causing you to not feel movement, and it will also show if the baby is moving or not.

Don't be. With my first pregnancy I only felt the baby for the first time at about 20 and a half weeks. So, I would not worry about it.
But if after 1 week there still is nothing. Go to your doc.
You should be going to your doc soon again for appointment. Let him check if all is ok. It should be.
Congrats with your pregnancy and good luck.
I am 4 months so I am just 1 month behind you. I should be feeling my baby kick soon. If you need someone to talk to, you can im me any time.

Most women start to feel their first babies move at around 19 or 20 weeks, but there is no reason to worry if you haven't felt it yet. It will probably happen any day now. Your baby is already moving, but you probably just don't recognise the signs yet.

They say you can feeling movements any time between the 4-5 months. Every pregnancy and every women is different.
When in doubt check it out i say. Put your mind at easy.
I used to sometimes lightly jab my tummy and she would move so I got the reassurance that I needed there.
It's so natural to worry, I worried all the time as your can't see what is going on inside your body but you have to trust your own gut feelings sometimes.
Enjoy your pregnancy and get advice from the experts, they are trained and there to help you.
All the best

That would depend on if this is your first pregnancy ... and you might have felt it but think it is gas or something like that... at first when you start to feel your baby it is kinda like a butterfly in your stomach... If you are really worried about it though call your OBGYN and tell them that you are worried and ask if you can come in to hear it's heartbeat or if they can do a ultrasound. usually they will be more than happy to fit you in... hope that this helps and best wishes to you and your little one.

First of all....Congrats on your pregnancy. I am 19 weeks pregnant with my second child, but there is an 8 year gap between the two of them... So... I really don't remember when I first started feeling movement from my son, but with this one, I've been feeling little movements in my stomach.. Mainly when I am sitting and relaxed... If you don't feel anything with in the next week or two, I'd let your Obgyn know.. I don't go to see mine till Feb 6th.. Hope everything is well..

Im 21 weeks today, and two days ago i felt exactly the same as you, but all of a sudden the past couple of days my baby has been playing football in there! Give it a few more days, bet you'll feel it all of a sudden to.
i also kept thinking last week, i THINK i can feel it? its so frustrating when people ask you if you can feel it, and all you can say is, 'I think so, but im not sure if its just wind' ! lol

You are right around the time that you should start to feel your baby move. However, if this is your first pregnancy it may take a little longer and you may feel it and not recognize it. It may feel like gas or butterflies in your stomach. If you are concerned talk to your OB-GYN, he or she can do an ultrasound to make sure there is nothing wrong.
