Some women do want to be "equal" to men, they want to have the right to ignore their families and focus on their careers, if they choose. They want to be exactly like men in every way. God (The one called Jehova and the father of Jesus Christ, the one who created Adam and Eve and the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob), created women and men to be different. I don't think that most women want to be exactly like men, if so, we should abolish maternity leave because men don't have paternity leave. And many women will say,"Excuse for being a B****, I'm PMS-ing."
It is not right. But, if we are going to be totally equal, then there will be no differences. This is not how God made us. But, women deserve respect and appreciation. Their jobs have been minimized and I believe that this is why some women don't want to stay at home with the children, it is not seen as honorable work and it is seen as "less" than what men do. Women want to be celebrated, not controled, not degraded and not disrespected. And, since this God that I speak of tells me to treat their wives like Christ treated the church, most men still don't understand this concept. Most men who control their women, don't know how to submit to God.

Some selfish men & women use this false concept of equality. Will you say your left & right eyes are equal. Your left & right hands are the same. Similarly, in nature positive & negative are same. In an atom electrons & protons are same & equal. No certainly not. But both are needed for stability. Likewise we cant talk of equality between men & women. But one cannot exist without the other. Just because 95 % are telling some false propaganda, that doesnt mean that that will become true. A day will come when truth will prevail, false will be destroyed.

We were created equal but because of the fall the man was made to rule over the woman. However you will find that in the times we are living in women are fighting for their rights. Not only them but all people are fighting for certain rights all over the world. Its a sign of the end time. We are living in the Laodecian age and if you read the history of Laodecia you will find that the issue about rights was quite prevalent in that place just like it is now. If you want to see the condition the world is in look at the women and you will get the picture

Who are you to judge what God wants? Every religion says different things about what God wants. Who are you to judge which one (if any) is right?
I'm a woman. I don't believe in God and if some arrogant nutcake who claims to have daily conversations with God tries to tell me what that God of theirs wants for my life, I'll take it for what it is. THAT PERSON trying to control my life according to their own screwed up beliefs. That is NOT going to happen, believe me. I fight for equality because we are all humans and should be treated equally. We are all valuable life with great potential if we only get the opportunities. Equality is better for everyone. Countries that ignore the talents of their women are the countries that are doing the worst in the world.
I don't care what some barbarians thousands of years ago wrote. They can't prove any of it is true and that God of theirs can't be bothered to show his face and tell us what he really wants, so I use common sense.

I don't! I have to work to share the house expenses but if it were up to me I would have preferred to stay home, cook, clean, raise my kids, take care of my appearance and please myself and my husband! And that does not mean I would be inferior to men, but also equal in another way...Equally doing my duties, like a man is doing his.

a woman shouldn't have to explain. For you to understand you need to have some of your rights stripped away. when you have a brain that works you don't want to be held back. i find that men who want to keep women in the kitchen and bedroom are threatened and can't compete w/ a woman intelligently so he uses brute force to be more powerful.

Who says God didn't want it that way, or that God even exists? Women are people too, all people should be equal.

God didn't write the bible, people did. So, unless god himself comes down and tells everyone explicitly what he wants, I'm going to go about my life however I choose.
