They are accurate. After missing your period on the box of a pregnancy test it says can be taken anytime of the day. Do you know i took 2 pregnancy tests a full 7 days before my period was due and both were positive and yea i was pregnant plus i did not even use first morning urine. I tested at night.

Congrats your pregnant!

Pregnancy tests are based on the presence of the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). This hormone is usually present only during pregnancy. Human chronic gonadotropin appears very early in pregnancy to stimulate the production of the hormones progesterone and estrogen which are necessary for the pregnancy to continue. For the most accurate results from a home pregnancy test always follow the step by step directions accurately. Many home test can detect a pregnancy as early as one day after a missed period. However, they are generally most accurate six to nine days after a missed period. All pregnancy test can give false negatives, meaning the test result is not pregnant when you are in fact pregnant. If you get a negative result and still experience symptoms of pregnancy seek out your health provider.
Currently there is no pregnancy test available that can be used prior to a missed menstrual period.

YEP!! They are just as reliable as the expensive ones. I prefer digital test myself just because there's no mistaking the result, but when used properly, the cheap dollar store tests work just as well. Make sure you're using first morning urine and reading the results in the allotted amount of time. Otherwise, you might see an evaporation line. Look closely at the test before you take it because sometimes there's already a very faint almost clear-like positive showing before you even take the test. You need to make sure that you know what the test looks like before you take it so that you can better decide if you see a significant change Even a faint positive is still a positive!

I have never had a false positive pg test... I have had one false negative. I would definitly say you are pregnant. The reason the package says to test early morning is because that is when the HCG levels are the highest because the urine has been held in the bladder overnight... that being said if you tested positive in the afternoon I would definitly say you are pregnant. I would go to the clinic as planned where they can do a blood test as well as tell you when your due date is. It is sooo important to get good medical care when you are pregnant.... Congratulations and I wish you the best of luck.

If the home test gives you positive then you should be pregnant bexcause it only interacts with pregnancy hormone adn they say check in teh morning because pregnancy hormone level is highest in the morning but if you are pregnant for a while it can read it anytime. However if test gives negative you can still be pregnant but very early and hormone is too weak to be detected. It seems you are pregnant . Good luck and enjoy it

If you have a positive test then you are definitely pregnant. It can't detect the pregnancy hormone if it's not there. The only way they are unreliable is that it is possible to get a false negative very early in the pregnancy if there isn't enough hormone for the test to detect. So you already know the truth

Congratulations

Sounds to me like it's accurate. You don't absolutely have to use the first morning's urine, although it tends to contain a higher concentration of the pregnancy hormone.

If you're unsure, see an OBGYN so you can have a blood test.
