Yeah im pissed off. Recently a woman i know who is a very religious woman who claims to be loving and open to everyone because its her beliefs to love all people no matter what. Just yesterday she found out i was gay and said the most horrible things you could ever say to a person. So i told her to take her bible and shove it, before i beat the sh*t out of her..i know thats not nice to say but it pissed me off. Plus shes an ADULT and im only 16, what "loving" person says stuff like that to someone my age?!? But my question is how come religious people claim to be such loving people when alot of them are clearly NOT.

It only shows how immature you really are!! How can you be upset with a person who follows what they believe? Don't you follow what you believe, which is to be gay? You can not condemn a person for what they believe, if so you are just as bad as they are. If possible, have people show or explain to you why they believe the way they do. Can you explain why you feel the way you do? How you reacted to this person, is just as bad as someone beating up a gay person just because he/she is gay. Not cool!!

Some people are just hypocritical and have this uncontrollable need to shove their opinions and beliefs down other people's throats. I may not agree with what these people do in their bedrooms or how they live their lives yet that's not my business. You're always going to encounter sanctimonious, self-righteous azzholes like this woman. They need to f*ck off and mind their own business. Not everyone believes in the same religion as them and it's really arrogant for them to believe that they are absolutely right and anyone who disagrees is absolutely wrong. I respect people's beliefs but when they try to shove it down my throat I tell them to eat my ****. I'm sorry if I'm a bit crude but it just makes me angry.

all man is imperfect and most are fake. the next time she wishes to look down on you and speak ill things, remind her that the bible say not every one saying lord lord will enter into his kingdom, and if she professes to be a Christan which means to live our lives by the examples he showed us while he was on earth. she would not have verbally attacked you NO! She would have not relied on her own wisdom, but would have turn to God's word the bible for wisdom. Luke 5: 31 and looked at it as an opportunity to get to know you and share her insight of Gods word the bible in a loving and caring voice. Just as Jesus would have done.

Some Christians become very focused on the particular words and phrases that they're taught. Jesus said some great things about loving other people. But he also said that his followers would be hated and persecuted (actually, linguistic analysis suggests that it was someone else saying those words and attributing them to Jesus, but they don't go in for those sorts of details).

The end result is that many fundamentalist and evangelical Christians see themselves as duty bound to love everyone and to suffer hatred and persecution. Those concepts play out in bizarre ways, one of which is their intense hatred towards people who challenge their views of the world.

Keep in mind as well that Christianity has been very uncomfortable with sex in all forms since the time of Paul. He truly believed that Jesus would return during his lifetime and that, with procreation no longer necessary, sex was a distraction from the work they needed to do in preparation.

The coming out process encourages us to become comfortable with our sexuality. We accept it and enjoy it, which goes against this old underlying thread of Christianity. All of that challenges their belief structures and they don't like it.

Lets make it simple for you and I try to be as accurate as I can with out giving verses. Gay, Straight, Good or Bad. We are all Sinners in the Eye's of the Lord God. Its in many Bibles, in different sections under Sin. With that said, All Sins are forgiven by the Grace of God through Jesus Christ, with one exception. Blaspheme of the Holy Spirit. Now here the hard part, Believe, except his word and live by it. Now your going to screw up, we all do. Get back on your feet, repent to GOD only and Believe, except his word and live by it again. With all that said, let me say this. A lot of gays that truly know they are gay, are not practicing gays. For the about reasons. If you do your best not to partake in the practice, and if you faultier. You will be forgiven if you ask GOD for forgiviness.

It's called being a hypocrite, and they think everyone includes only "NORMAL" people.

Just be the better person, and tell her to judge others the way she wants to be judge or any other thing a person of her liking may understand.

Hope this helped.

I guess they are only human. It is easy to say that you believe in being a loving and caring person, but it is difficult to be one in real life. When your friend was confronted with your sexuality, her picture of you was challenged - and thereby her perception of the world.

However, you don't deserve to be put down because of your sexual tendency so forget about her and other people like her, and focus on the people in your life that really matter to you.

people that do that are the epitomy of hypocrisy.

most of them truly do believe they are helping you. they feel gay people dont go heaven and simply believe that religion and God can change you, but, if you believe in God, you know God created you as a gay person.
maybe to test his believers if they are true and loving, or simply because he likes diversity.

im an atheist so bible thumpers can shove it.

edit: for the person who said he should go to jail for violence, he threatened her, not actually hit her.

people like that are nothing but hypocrites. they claim to be religious and loving, but will use religion to justify bigotry. they see nothing sinful about passing judgment on others and preaching hatred and intolerance....how very wrong they are.

not all church goers are like that, some actually take it to heart to be good to others, tho i will never step foot in a church again, some are nice and honest. dont you just love how god works to show others the true colors of people? some bible thumpers need to get re educated or off there holier than thou high horse.
if you believe in god, and that he loves you, that you arent a mistake and put your faith into god, not mankind, people like this lady you will be able to laugh off and not get mad, and just walk away like her opinion is like a**holes everyone has them.
no ones opinion matters to me cause i believe in god and put total
faith in god. take comfort god loves you, just remember to be good
and be true to yourself to hell with others.
all are with sin, only jesus was not. no sin is better or worse than the other, but i would prefer to face god knowing i loved a woman
than to bring kids into a loveless marriage and put them thru hell
just cause i didnt have the back bone to accept myself for what god made me. keep your chin up.
im and adult, and im telling you god loves you, you dont go to church to get others approval, you go to church to become closer to god. dont let the sad sack bimbos put you down or discourage you.
have faith in god not in man or woman for that fact.
