No. Banning takes place only if the UN decides to sanction or embargo Iraq in all area especially on the government that make the goverment diplomatic ties with other countries cease temporarily until the embargo / sanction lifted.

There's a phenomenon in personnel management where when you first being told will be hired but actually don't. Its call 'qualified but no fit'. It means, they interview you just to look at your personality, they don't bother much on your qualification. If suit with them, you're hired. So, don't get too emotional and don't lobby job based on your qualification, but based on merit of your personality.

Just too bad but the world is now focussed on Iraq. There is a story of a Buddhist monk who went to the senior monk with frustration written on his face. "I have prayed and meditated this so many months and I am not able to get to understand God or even get close to God. Please let me leave the monastry". The kindly senior monk looked at him lovingly and replied, "This too shall pass. Go back to your meditation". The younger monk went back to his meditation and after several months came back to the senior monk and with exaltation and happiness exclaimed, "I am so happy. I have finally attained moksha (salvation). I have seen the face of God". With the same staid expression the senior monk lovingly looked at the junior and replied, "This too shall pass". So as I say the world is round, turns on and on, and life will go on and on for you and all other Iraqi's and any other nationality that is repressed. "This too shall pass". All that is required is patience. Wait, your time will come. God is fair to everyone, equally, and no man is more equal than the other.
