not currently but yes ive made this mistake before paid 6mos in advance even thinking the $300 hit to my account would shame me enough into going hahaha i went twice and only twice ...sigh

Sounds like a good life lesson for you. Unfortunatly, when you sign a contract you are commiting yourself to something. Within that paperwork I am sure it stated the fee for canceling etc. They are a buisness and they do not care if you ever go, just that you pay. I would advise you to pay, because things like this will effect your credit which you are beginning to build right now. There is no reset button on your credit score and if you don't pay these types of things your score will go down and it will make it difficult for you in the future to get things the loans for a home, apartment or car. So, just be careful about what you commit yourself to, and I guess use it as motivation to go to the gym and get your monies worth!

I get to use 2 gyms for free and i don't, one at my work and one in our residential development.
