good off off-roads and trails.
can be used to get through areas unsuitable for vehicles to pass through.

well the most obivious is the four wheel drive, i live on a farm with mud every where, we make good use of it. ive done some many things i thought i could never do with (driving through channels, very very soft sandy soil and absolute mud). you can also tow things them, my bike will tow around 300 - 400kg or there abouts.

plow driveways if you have snow
you can move big rocks with them
ride on trails
take them on lakes if you go ice fishing
it is fun for the family if you have one or if you just have a special person in your life you want to share with

there are many uses it just depends on the rider and the make and model 2wd or 4wd
