Thing is i met a guy at the weekend (my mates boyfriends friend)
we were all out and we got on really well.
I ended going back to his and the rest is history.
However, when i was there, he kept talking about meeting up, he lit candles etc etc and it was really nice
He walked me to the taxi, gave me a kiss and said well def meet up soon.
I rang him yesterday, and it just rang out.
Reckon hes avoiding me? or could there be a simple excuse
I feel like texting him and saying if it was a one night stand then thats cool just so i know.
But i do like him.
Any advice?

Don't call him, and don't text him anymore, it just looks like you are desperate hunni. when he looks at his phone, he would of seen the missed call from you. he might be plucking up the courage to call you back, give him some time, the weekend wasnt that long ago! good luck x

Just because the phone rings it doesn't mean people have to answer it. He could have been in the shower for all you know. Give the guy a few days to call you and if he doesn't, call him again. If you don't get a response you know where you stand.
He might leave it a while to call, so that he doesn't seem to keen. Or he might have just wanted a one night stand but was being a gentleman about it to not hurt your feelings and make you feel like a cheap tart (i'm not saying you are one).
Personally if a girl gave it up on the first date, i wouldn't be thinking of her as girlfriend material, more likely a girl to booty call while staggering home from the pub, but hey thats me.
Just chill and see what happens over the rest of this week.

Give it some space. You're just as responsible for letting things go so quickly as he is, even if you were seduced. This is why going on a few dates before taking off your pants is a must! Accept some responsibility for your actions!!
So at this point, you need to seem relaxed. Have confidence that you've roped a catch, and it will just take some time for the attraction to develop into a committment. Just don't expect it to happen overnight. He's probably still looking for a bit of a tease on your end, and he can't get that from you if you're defensive or getting on his case.

why would you expect more fromthis guy when he has already won the conquest? he probably has another conquest somewhere else.
the fact that you guys had history the first night may have made him feel like that is what you do normally.will probably be hard for him to believe you actually see him as special.
i think you should forget him and straighten your act.dont make any guy think you are good only for history.
sorry it sems like it isnt working out.
please whatever you do, dont call him. if he likes you or wants something extra, he would call you.
if he does call you,straighten out the fact that it isnt biut history only,it isnt your style.if that is what he is coming back for,he can just take a walk.
the truth about guys is they like to have to conquer a difficult task not have it so easy...
if a guy must settle down with u, he must be sure you belong to him only, not some easy to get gal.

Well... a good one night stand isn´t the worst thing that could happen to someone...
Just wait and see what happens.
Something very similar happened to me a couple of years ago, I was convinced that there was something MORE between him and me, as we´ve shared such a great moment together and it seemed, that he really was in love with me... but for him it was just a one night stand - he obviously liked me a lot, but...
Just talk to him and you´ll see from his behavior if he´s looking for a serious relationship or not.
If not, well, there is always a great night full of passion you will remember for the rest of your life...

You are just gonna have to act like you don't care one way or the other. Even if he calls don't ask for a definition of what you guys are doing. I mean honestly if you slept with him on the first date or whatever then you can't expect much out of him. But if you call and text this soon, you will probably scare him off.

That was too fast..you went from A to Z in one night! What is left to know about you? Let him go..if you text him, your gonna come across as desperate. He should be calling YOU!! If he ain't calling you..move on don't waste your time. The way you meet them is the way you lose them.

If you can't wait then just text him a simple 'hi' or something........but don't push the guy too much......or get into details about what happened between you two just yet....if I were you, I would wait a few days and see if he will text me......! Cats when hungry, will look for fish.....if he likes you at all, he will text you........good luck

If he is interested, he will call you. Why are you so impatient?
It was only 1 day.
At least wait for a week before making a courtesy call.
