My parent live in different state, and i'm living with my boyfriend in CA. As a traditional viet family, my parents always want me to move back with them, i tried and i don't like the life style in Houston. It's quite hard for an OC girl to adapt Houston as home. I'm now living with my boyfriend for almost a year, and we had been together for almost 5 years. I miss my family alot, and sometimes really want to move back with them, but i can't leave my boyfriend. We tried the long distance relationship when i moved to Houston before. Honestly, i don't like living there and i missed him alot. I'm happy living in CA, but i know my parents planning to move back to CA so that we could be together. You can't imagine how happy i am to hear that. But i feel so guilty for making my parents moving back, starting over again in CA, while i should just suck it up and move to Houston with them. What should i do ?

No, go on with your life with boyfriend, maybe get married and start your own family...

what are u doing in CA?.are u working ?What more are the things u like to do? What are Future plans? With ur Bf? Are u going to marrywith the same? Are u still learning ?
I would only like to tell that if ur future is better In Ca don't worry But if u Get good oportunities in Houston then i would prefer u to move.
It is always true that being with family is wonderful . But careerwise u need to be little pratical. If u have same oportunies in both & u have no near ideas of getting married with ur BF then go to Houston.

If you have been "living" with your boyfriend for 5 years, and he hasn't proposed marriage yet, he probably never will. If it is your dream to ever have a ring on your finger you should think about looking elsewhere. It doesn't matter if you are living in California or Texas, near your parents or not, the sad truth is that your present relationship isn't going anywhere.

Who do you really need to make happy. . .can you EVER make someone else happy? Take care of your own happiness first. Your family should be happy that you are happy.
