okay so there is this person that was like a very good friend at the beginning of this year. now i dont know wat happened. she barely talks to me. i think she doesnt like me. i think she has been hearing a rumors about me. any advice on how to stay cool with he again??

if i talk to her and she says that she didnt mean to avoid me, ill sound like an idiot and maybe she will think i am desperate to have her as a friend

try to talk to her or ask a friend to do it for you. but if she really ignores u because she heard some rumors about u, she's not really a friend then..try to move on and there r many more people that u can be friends with..

When things happens or change suddenly, in my experience.. its not a good thing. However, since you are determined to gain back a lost friend, i suggest you make the first move.
Initiate doing something both of you would like to do, such as fishing. offer to go in one car, or pick her up. start subtle... then, as you build your confidence, ask or explain what you have seen happening. Tell her how that makes you feel...
On the other hand, I would like you to give it a good think. If she readily listens to gossips or rumors and untruths about yourself, do you really want her as a friend? She never gave you the chance to explain yourself..

Tell her what you are feeling now and ask what has happened that is making her to behave that way. Even if u had made a mistake... accepting that and asking sorry will surely bring back your friend... Talk to her and tell her the truth

Don't beat around the bush just go talk to her to see what the problem is, but if the rumors are true then you tell her yourself. if she is a true Friend she will accept you eventually.

Be forward, outright ask her why she doesnt talk to you any more. Maybe she has a lot going on in her life so she may not even realize she is neglecting you.

just talk to her.. maybe she's not avoiding you because of the rumors she's hearing.. maybe it because of some other reason.. so just talk to her about it.. communication is the best key..
