Gospel of wealth means, the manner of acquiring wealth has progressively development into materialism as passing away from the leisurely style of the late century of 1900. Its a strategy of new method, new beginning or birth, new name, whatever is innovation.
On the concept of the self-made man, too much focus on individual development was geared so he can contribute to the nation , first to be competitive . And lastly, Social Darwinism was alluded to the pattern of the ever growing society on the principle of survival of the fitted. Leaders of this powerful nation has to resort in this reality in order to hasten its industrialization, hence
to remain great and powerful.
