I might say "Hello to you both", but if there were four people, what word would I use instead of both (PLEASE don't say "four")...?

Remember the addage/saying that 2 is a couple but 3 is a group. There is a reason for that. You can refer to the couple or "both" but once it becomes 3 or more it becomes a group and you would refer to them in group reference like "Hi, to you all" or "Hi, guys" or even "Hi, you three (I know you said no to but you can refer to the group as the number or people for reference) etc."

If you are on personal terms with everyone in the group then you can modify a little and in a roundabout way, refer to them with a word that means three or four. You could say "Hello to you my trio" or some other variation of the same (trio=3; quartet=4; hey get musical and refer to them all as ensemble, I guess).

In general, "hello to you all" would suffice. If you are really interested in specifying three or four, you can use the cumbersome "hello triad" or "hello quartet". Optionally and equally unwieldy, you could say "hello threesome" or "hello foursome".

Or, here in the South, just "Hey'all" works just fine.

Y'all!

If you were talking about only three out of a bunch, though, you'd say "those three" or something similar. Three/four options: "All are good." There's not really a good word that signifies numerical-ness -- OTOH, maybe we don't want our vocabulary getting *that* precise.

Howdy, y'all!

Seriously, I would say "Hello to you all." or "Hello to everyone."
