How depressing. I just read the 10 answers before mine, and not one of them mentioned anything I would hope to read: something like experience, intelligence, knowledge of foreign affairs or domestic policies, etc. Not one of them seemed to have a reason I would look for in someone you would want to run our country; one of the world's greatest countries. Some seemed to think voting was not important which is even more depressing. I hope that some of us have grown to realize in the past few years how important it is to research our candidates and pick an experienced, intelligent candidate and the importance of voting as well.

Because he had all the attributes that Clinton lacked--- morals, convictions, loyalty to his wife and his country------you know!!!! I was never so glad to see a presidents term end as I was when Madame President and her husband left office. I was even willing to let them keep the stuff they stole from the White House if they would just GO!!!! Imagine! The President of our country begging for money from foreign countries to pay his legal fees because he couldn't keep his zipper up!!! He made a mockery of the office and was an embarrassment to our country. Where Clinton said he hated our military, Bush respects it. Clinton went around with that stupid smirk on his face and his Presidency was one scandal after another. Bush had tears in his eyes when he took the oath of office. In a way I was sorry for Gore because he couldn't shake loose from Clinton, which did his campaign no good, but then he really didn't seem like Presidential material----more like Microsoft material. Invented the Internet don'tcha know!! Anyway---I am an Ind. but I definitely made the right choice when I voted for Bush. He has been like a breath of fresh air after that last one. They're doing a good job. I'll miss him and Laura.

I didnt vote in the 04' elections because of personal reasons that Im declining to comment on. I could go into Bush's strong points, but I'll just tell you how it is. I was unconvinced and unimpressed at Al Gore's ability to lead this nation and I still am.

I voted for him because at the time, he stuck to his agenda and did what he thought was right, not what was popular. I was so jazzed when his '04 victory defeated pop culture.

I am upset with him now because he (and other Republicans) have started to give in to the critics and give them what they want. I sure wish he would have stuck to his agenda and not listened to people who don't care about America, they just want to see him fail.
