well babies shouldn't be throwing up after eating...do you mean spit up? Spitting up is caused by their bodies effort to help it rid itself of too much food. It's not harmful and if your baby is doing it, don't worry. They cry when they are trying to sleep because they don't know how to get themselves to sleep yet and this is sometimes the baby's "way" of getting itself to sleep.

Well either your baby had too much to eat and getting rid of excess or sometimes the muscle of teh stomach is to weak so if moved around the food pushes the muscle open and comes out. Try keeping your baby in a chair after the feed.
AS for crying to sleep well, crying is teh only language babies know it's a way of expressing a need in this case the need to sleep.

Wow, I am sorry you are having such a difficult time with your new baby. I would go see another doctor for a second opinion. I have a friend who has a little girl, who is now 2.5 years old. When she was a little baby, she would hold her breath until she passed out. She would start to cry and then hold her breath. This doesn't totally sound like the same thing, but I would still go see another doctor. Sometimes when babies are born early their lungs aren't fully developed. Maybe, the hospital released her too early...

Your baby is way too full - a digestive system reflex thing or a number of medical conditions such as colic due to improper feeding techniques or wrong milk/ formula/ food for child eg. not latching on to the breat correctly- too much air flow causing gas resulting in vomit (long story). Best to get your midwife to sort this condition out.

As for crying while trying to sleep - short answer just like an adult it takes time to settle down. They cry we grumble lol. From experience best to make them as comfortable as possible eg. not too over dressed or over fed. Best tip by Dr. Priscilla Dunstan for crying babies 0-6 months old are:

Eair= I've lower gas
Eh= I need to burp
Owh=I'm sleepy
Heh=I'm experiencing discomfort
Neh=I'm hungry

Cheers. 99

My son threw up because of a sensitivity to his food.A simple change same brand but with different qualities helped to sooth his tummy.Some times the crying is just cause they can.Sometimes it is discomfort and they can't tell you. I watched a show on Baby language, and suprisingly the lady knew what she was talking about.They have limited noises they make but it amounts to telling you what is wrong.The two that I remember were hungry and uncomfortable.Hungry sounds like "Neh".You have to listen when the baby cries because all the cries can sound the same.Uncomfortable sounds like "Eh" The two sound almost the same but if you listen you can hear it.Remembering the two of those helped my son so much.I learned when HE was telling me feed me & move me I am uncomfortable.Hope this helps

Sometimes, during infancy, babies will spit up when their stomachs become too full. You can avoid this by feeding baby while they're sitting up, making sure not to jostle baby right after feeding.

Most of the time, it's nothing serious. If you notice strange colored spit up, choking, crying when spitting up, or projectile vomitting, it could be GERD, in which case you should see your doctor for proper medical treatment.

Babies will get grumpy when they are tired, just like adults. When they get sleepy, they get cranky.

well how old is baby? they're babies they cry. as for the throwing up, if it's constant it might be reflux. spitting up some is normal, but continously and in large amount could be reflux. this could also account for the crying while trying to sleep. if you think something is wrong call your dr. good luck.
