I totally got rid of my land line phone almost 3 years ago when my husband got back from Iraq, and I have not missed it in the slightest. It's slightly more expensive to have two cell phones than it was to have the landline, but it's so worth it - free long distance, almost unlimited minutes, free nights and weekends, text messaging/internet included in my plan, and I can take it with me anywhere.

Yeah, I just totaly droped my house phone. I was like, why in the world do i have two phones, and i was useing my cell when i was home anyway, so pointless. My cell phone gets service everywere, so why not.
